I remember some of you mentioned it previously. My daughter was put on it today.

Thanks to everyone for sharing this information. I have been thinking about going on this drug. I hope more people will contribute their experience.

Rinvoq slightly better controls joint pain, stiffness compared to other meds I was on ( Methotrexate, Enbrel, Actemra, Orencia). But it significantly improved my energy level. That has been significant positive change.

Hi Carol. I have been on Rinvoq for 3 months. I noticed a difference within 2 weeks. The swelling in my hands has gone. My monthly blood work is perfect with no high or low flags. I had very high liver enzymes with the other 3 meds I previously tried and had to stop taking them -methrotrexate, leflumonide and sulfasaladine. Rinvoq is the only med so far that did not effect my liver. In my last appointment my rheumatologist said I could now try and stop taking hyroxychloruquine and see how I do with just taking Rinvoq on it's own. I will see how I will do .

I’m using Rinvoq over a year now, I find it that it’s helping me. Barley have pain like I use too. I started my walks too this year, I couldn’t do my walks before but since I used Rinvoq I’ve been active and going to fitness also..

Carol, I was on Rinvoq for almost 2 years . It worked well with very few side effects. Maybe cold/flu symptoms once in a while. Then, it just stopped working and RA noticably worse again. On Humira next, generic equivalent here in Canada, and it did absolutely nothing so discontinued after 8 months. Now onto Actemra, but too soon to really tell.
Hope that helps. Good luck to your daughter.
