Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) can indeed get worse over time, but it varies from person to person. Signs that RA may be getting worse include:

- More frequent flares: Increased pain, stiffness, and swelling occurring more often.
- Increased stiffness: Prolonged stiffness, especially after inactivity, that doesn't improve with movement.
- Disease progression: Tissue damage related to inflammation or new areas of inflammation.

It's important to discuss these changes with your rheumatologist to manage your condition effectively.

Herkese geçmiş olsun. 70 yaşımdayım. On yıllık RA hastasıyım. bence de yaş geçtikçe tedaviye rağmen hastalık daha da ilerliyor.

My RA has my feet so bad I can only shuffle around the house I’m 61 . I need a 2 nd knee replacement and .a ankle replacement. As I won’t be walking due to my feet I have decided to not go ahead with the replacements ..-I’ve tried nearly all treatments available .But it is bad in most of my joints . I have to live on painkillers.I’ve had to stop workIt is affecting my life totally. Not what I would wish on anyone. My only suggestion start biological drugs as soon as u can before the damage occurs .
