Teresa, it's the steroids that improve your inflammation and pain. Once, the steroids wear off then the pain returns. I'm sorry you're in so much pain.

Thank you all, for your hugs and prayers πŸ™ ❀️. I'm still waiting for an appointment for a Colonoscopy and a Upper GI. I was supose to have it on the 28th of March but I was in the hospital πŸ₯ at the time so again I have to wait!!! UUUUG
I need to know if I have Crones. I'm holding my breath what I read it's not pretty. I'm just doing the waiting game.
Prednisone did alot for me with my asthma. I would take 80mg so every 4 days I go down by 10mg, so when I get to go down to 10mg I have to take it every day. Not only does it help the inflammation in my lungs but my my joints too. Ever since 2014 I have been on Prednisone the hole time.
I was on and off the Prednisone for 3 years before I knew I was going to be on it for the RA, OA, FIBROMIALGIA
DEGENERATE SPINAL DIEASE, and other stuff. Yep I'm a biv, big mess. I'm working on my self to get into hobbies like gardening, painting teracata pot's and eggshells πŸ₯š for the holidays. There all one of a kind.
My Depression sometimes is very hard to control but I try, I'm not as bad as I was year ago. I'm sure I'm not the only one but I found someone to help me. I hope you can find πŸ™ someone to talk to it does help. The problem is you need reach out and ask for help that's a hard one it was for me.
I hope you'll have a great week.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL

Hi Teresa. I do not have asthma. I do have incredible pain at night with the RA. My rheumatologist put me on a low dose steroid daily until we can hopefully find a medication that helps with the inflammation. It doesn't get rid of the pain but I am able to sleep more than before. I hope they can find something that will help you. Sending lots of hugs!
