I didn’t feel better for 5 months. My rheumatologist told me it could take 6 months. I too am on hydroxy. But methotrexate caused a toxic reaction in my liver. I am on Leflumonide.

Thank you! My methotrexate is 15mg/week and when we tried to increase the dose, I broke out in a rash with severe itching only in my arms . I'd scratch until I bled. Saw a dermatologist and got some cream that helped somewhat but it wasn't until we lowered the dose back to 15mg, that the itching just stopped. I've had some hair loss too. My rheumatologist wants me to continue my meds until we see if Humira helps.
