I feel like that just before it’s time for my Humira. I had a disc removed at my L4-5 that was bulged out and on my sciatic nerve and had a cage put in with 2 rods and 4 screws. I was off all of my RA meds for 4 weeks. I had that surgery on February 7th and I’m just not feeling half way normal. My rheumatologist took me off my prednisone, plaquinal, and Humira for 2 weeks before surgery and 2 weeks after. It was rough but finally feeling somewhat back to my normal. I’m always tired, require naps . I do what I can then rest. Pain has become a part of life now and I have learned to except that. But I try to keep going and trying but when I just can’t I don’t. Hope you find some relief. Just know you are not alone.

When I have a flare-up, I feel like I have the flu.

I usually feel this way when the weather changes and also when I’m just a day or two before a flare up.

Johanna are you on RA meds? I get like that way a couple days to a week before my infusions or injections.

Last September, I constantly felt like I was running a fever and was exhausted all the time! Things started looking up pretty randomly, I think. I'm currently on plaquenil and Cymbalta. I'm coming closer to remission, just with these, but I hope to start Enbrel soon. I hope that will push my disease activity into remission officially.
