I agree with Paula that you should be referred to a pain management doctor. They definitely can evaluate our issues and understand how to help reduce pain. Even some physical therapy might be beneficial bc they do various things besides stretches and exercises. Moist heat therapy, pool therapy, far infrared therapy, sport wraps or braces, all kinds of things to help us cope.

If your doctor doesn't suggest things, you should bring it up when on appointment. You should not suffer things in silence and that's what all our specialists are for... to keep us active and having a better quality of life without the cronic suffering from chronic pain, stiffness, isolation and depression etc. If they need to do more labs, ask for xrays or mri, etc. Those should help them find why, how and where you are suffering the most.

It is Curcumin or where Turmeric comes from for inflammation great for osteoarthritis don't know if it is strong enough for RA autoimmune disease issues. Your rheumatologist, and I would get a pain management specialist and a good primary care doctor for all around patient care.
