Both my rheumatologist and GP told me that exercise cannot correct the condition but I will press them again about the types of exercise that I should be able to do. I used to exercise 3 times a week in the heated pool but because of a permanent bladder problem which causes recurrent UTIs, I have been advised to avoid pools, swimming and baths.
