I was recently prescribed leflunomide. It hasn’t worked out well for me. I told my doctor I stopped taking it. I was having headaches and terrible diarrhea. Appointment tomorrow to discuss going back to mtx. Everyones reaction to meds are different. Hope it works for you. Sending hugs and prayers your way 🙏🏻
Hi Veronica Sorry for the late response , don't have much side effects from leflunomide, but the Dr combined it with hydroxychloroquine..we will see how it works. All the best .
Hi GermaineRuiz, saw my RA dr today. My blood work showed too high on the liver numbers. She said it’s either the leflunomide or could be from the mild sepsis. Gonna keep an eye on it. We decided I’ll go back to mtx & folic acid. No more leflunomide for me 🤪. Still taking a weekly enbrel injection.
Thanks for sharing ,my prayers are with you as well . Big hug🫠🙏🏿
