Hi there , you could have something that’s called Sjögren’s syndrome it’s a secondary to RA and it causes dry eyes and mouth . Can’t really do anything for it . I have to chew chewing gum all the time to keep my mouth moist , my mouth is very sensitive to hot things as well so as the years have gone on it’s got worse. Good luck I hope it’s not that but sorry it sounds like it is. Xx

It sounds like you're experiencing some uncomfortable symptoms. Muscle spasms can indeed be a part of living with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and they can affect various parts of the body, including the neck, hands, and feet. As for dry mouth and throat, while they aren't directly mentioned in the context of RA symptoms, it's important to consider that overall hydration is crucial. Dehydration can sometimes cause muscle twitches, so ensuring you're drinking enough water could be beneficial. If these symptoms are new or worsening, it's really important to discuss them with your healthcare provider. They can offer personalized advice and help manage these symptoms effectively.
