Orencia

I am starting Orencia infusions this week because of the high infection rate I have had on Remicade infusions. Have you or are you taking Orencia and what is your experience? I know its a T-Cell modulator instead of TNF inhibitor.

Orencia was one of the worst for me causing pneumonia. I was ill pretty much entire time on it. Lost 8 pounds (I only weight 100 to start with).

I self-injected with Orencia for several years until I wasn't getting as much benefit, then was switched to Orencia infusions. I had great success with the infusions for years, tolerated the drug well with only minor side effects (headache after infusion)--this was treated with an infusion of Tramadol. Unfortunately, after years on Orencia it recently stopped working and I just started my first Remicade Infusion. I hope you have the same success with Orencia I did for as long as possible.
