Hello β Friday
We're less then a week away from Thanksgiving. This years' holiday is extra special for me because after years of family research I was able to collect all the paperwork that proved our branch is related to 2 Pilgrams off the Mayflower. ππΌ
Will you be making any special arrangements for your Self this Holiday? Like - I bring my own food to ensure I won't have a flare later. This way the people preparing the meal don't extra work trying to follow my needs.

It's just my adult son and myself. Every year we figure out who's going to make what, it's split about 50/50 and we ALWAYS argue who's going to make the green bean casserole. My son aways makes the pies because I suck at pie crusts.
Then we eat, clean up and do whatever. Him: normally video games. Me: normally sewing. Until we're hungry again. lol
We do the regular Thanksgiving spread of turkey or ham, potatoes/gravy, sweet potatoes, dressing, green bean casserole, rolls, pumpkin pie/whipped topping, and Tums/Rolaids.
It's pretty much the same for Christmas too.
Chicken dressing and homemade noodles and chicken, fresh cranberry jello salad, tabouli, snap beans, Greek potatoes, wine roasted turkey with carrots and mushrooms, yeast rolls, lemon mirangue pie and pumpkin pie. Iced tea.
My older brother and I will be cooking. Paper plates.
Movie: Trains, Planes and Automobiles is a yearly tradition.
Traditional day, parade n football. Will do most of cooking. Pacing myself,so don't get overwhelmed. First year I've cooked taking all this RA meds. Family bonding,so worth it when I know the ppl I love n care about are still here,n blessed, through "all" our struggles.

Nancy,
Me too! I am related to Elizabeth Tillie and John Howland, from the Mayflower.
There is just me and my daughter this year, so a small meal with Cornish game hen, stuffing, cranberry sauce, acorn squash and pumkin pie.
Happy Thanskgiving to all!
