All the people that I know that have RA,have all the lab work done every three month.That is the reason for the lab work to be done every three months.My doctor will check me more often If any thing is not normal.Also I have a lab test done every six month to see how active my RA is.

I basically had to stop the first three drugs my rheumatologist started. Methotrexate, sulfazazine, leflunomide - I've probably spelled them all wrong, but you get the drift. They all raised my liver enzymes too high, and I don't have a fatty liver. So, that was the end of those, she said. On we went to the JAK inhibitors, Rinvoq, which worked well for almost 2 years until it didn't. But it didn't raise my liver enzymes. I leave it to my rheumatologist to assess what is too high and what is within norm for me.
Good luck with this. I would hope your doctor would monitor this and advise you accordingly. But, hey, you never know.

When the Dr decided to have me try methotrexate (even though what I was taking worked) my liver enzymes went really high. She told me that it happens sometimes and can level out. I said I didn't want to take any chances so I stopped taking it. Things went back to normal.
What did the Dr say about it? Aren't they concerned about your liver? Did they give you any ideas for it to go lower?
