Maybe these are nodules? But yes, RA has typical hands conditions and sometimes surgery can be done (if there are any joints left). If joints are pretty much gone, the only thing they can do is what's called bone fusion that will help get risk of inflammation and pain, but also set your finger/s fixed straight for life.

It's mainly 1 finger knuckle and only hurts if I bend it hard into a fist π
