Members overwhelmingly agreed that dietary changes have helped reduce pain and inflammation, with the most commonly eliminated triggers being sugar, processed foods, dairy, beef, pork, soda, wheat, and gluten. Several members shared specific foods and drinks that have become staples in their anti-inflammatory diets, including super greens, avocado oil, ground chicken instead of beef, turmeric tea, fresh lemon or orange water, salads, vegetable-rich soups, broiled seafood, and Omega-3 supplements. A recurring theme was that while it can take a week or more to notice improvements during a flare, making these dietary shifts has made a meaningful difference in how they feel day to day, with one member noting that eliminating soda alone seemed to reduce joint pain even before their diagnosis.

I agree no sugar or processed foods. Greens are good. At least they make you feel better it takes me a week or so to get my flare under control.

Unfortunately for awhile when my daughter first moved in i week back to drinking pop. I drank diet or zero sugar. Nobody has to tell me that's extremely bad. I already know. I really believe it was one of the reasons nothing was working for me for my joint pain. I've stopped it once I realized.

I find that I cannot eat rich foods. I flare up when I eat Gouda.
