Does anyone taking Hydrochloroquin sweat shortly after eating and have a feeling of unwellness?

I found that sweating is normal when our bodies are weakened. The less physical activity I do- only causes my muscles to atrophy. I got myself in a very puny way and realized What had happened.

The heart is a muscle just as our bowels, lungs, valves, sphincters, etc...and is affected by inactivity. We have to do cardio exercises to strengthen our core. When we are weakened, our body is overly stressed when performing simple processes.

The answer, in many cases, is to have regular exercise every single day. Ive noticed that as I age, I'm becoming less inclined to involve myself in activities bc I am getting weaker physically. I tend to want to sit and read or watch TV. Bc it's easy and I hurt less.

This is why I got my dog. He needs lots of attention and care which forces me to get up and do things for and with him. I needed motivation and companionship to move.

I also began walking him on leash and worked us from 2 blocks up to 3 miles.
The sweating happened more during movement but it has lessened. Some ppl are so weakened they can sweat just digesting food, eating , visiting or breathing. Bc our respiratory system is struggling to keep up with weakened muscles. But, it is your body, telling you that just walking in the house or cooking dinner is physically exerting you to the point of excess perspiration. It means you might join a walking group, a pool therapy class, yoga or tai chi class, something to rebuild your core so it can better handle all your processes and normal activities. Constant movement for 45 minutes to one hour a day, sweat and replenish your fluids, shower then rest.
Meds may be blamed for a portion, but not all. We must keep moving and burn calories. We must strengthen our muscles to hold up our organs and keep our bones stable or we develop more issues.
I am with you all and understand. It is difficult when we are sore and have additional problems to deal with. Each of us must find our ways and means to stay mobile and lessen our burdens. For me, gardening, walking, and 2 dogs now, bc I am not a social person and am awkward in groups.
I hope this helps and no one is offended. Please consider if any of this might help you. Ask your doctor to send you to physical therapy or pool therapy to get you started into a routine. And good luck too.

Thank you @A myRAteam Member good info. Makes sense. I have been working on increasing my walking. Having weaned off presnisone I have gained 10#. ??maybe because I am in more pain and less active? I need to work on my core. It has been suggested to me to get a companion dog. I am strongly considering doing so.

I never sweated, even after menopause, but now I do randomly, with no triggers ever since I caught a weird virus last November (non covid) that attacked my middle ear leaving me with permanent dizziness. But I do exercise regularly and indeed, still take Zumba even though my spinal column is continuosly painful. Being fit supports bad joints the best.

I've been on hydroxychloroquine for a couple of months and either I'm freezing or sweating. I'm taking two showers a day and during my PT sessions I'm dripping wet...and I'm not usually a sweaty person.
