Does anyone have mixed tissue connective disease. It is playing havoc with my body. The tendons that slid next to my knuckles in my hands are now sliding over my knuckles. Hand braces work some but my arms and legs constantly hurt. Any body have any ideas? Please and thank you. Good night all. Hope you all have a good night's sleep
I hope you get relief soon too!
There's a thunderstorm coming I can feel it. I can't hardly move my legs. I guess the methylprednisolone has kicked in yet for barometric change. The other day I thought it was working but that was just a nice rain.
I don't know anymore🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Yes I am going now,I also went about a month ago,was discharged but pain was managed until recently, just excruciating at times. Unable to do much of anything. This disease is so debilitating. Hoping for some relief soon. Thank you Carol
Have you tried going to a orthopedic or hand specialist?
I have been on Humira for 4 months now and do not feel any better. I've had a deep blood clot in my lower calf which was about 8 months ago but now I have to wear compression socks and with my hands hurting so much I can't even pull them up. My veins try to reform to the skin layer and it looks like I have vericose veins. The tendons in my hands move to the area right above my knuckle so when I bend my fingers,it's an excruciating pain. It just seems like the Dr. In this area do not know much about this mixed tissue connective disease
Debbie, I was diagnosed with mixed connective tissue before RA. I was first given hydroxycloriquine which slowed the process. I have had a lot of tendon, ligament and skin issues. I form scar tissue extremely fast and a lot of it for years. This is what happened to my ulnar nerve at my elbow. I have permanent damage to the ulnar. The scar tissue ground the nerve into the bone. Humira helped the granular Annulare and some of the pain. I was diagnosed with seronegative RA a couple of years ago. From my experience if you don't know what's going on, and you can't make it feel better on your own, don't wait too long to have it looked at.
Good luck to you! 🙏💞
