I went through three years' worth of labs and whenever I have a CBC, I always have a high MPV. Is this synonymous with inflammation?

MPV is (mean platelet value). It measures the platelet activation and aggregation. I read a Pub Medical which said high RA activity reduces MPV. Gunluoglu, Yazar and Alton in their Feb 2014BMC article claim that RA, inflammatory intestinal disease and ankylosing spondylitis cause an inverse relationship between disease activity and MPV. Hopefully this helps.
