I am about to start Humira and am nervous about giving my self shots as well as side effects. Any advice how to make it easier and lessen side effects.

SarahJohnsonSullivan, I’m on Simpson’s Aria for my infusions now. Less than a year, but so far, so good.

Each person is difference of course. I tried the Humira self injection initially but decided to give the regular injection a try. I found it much less "ouchy". Really, you'll do fine once you settle into your routine. It's so much more convenient that the trek to the infusion center!!!!

I'm not on Humira, but ... was on Enbrel since it 1st came out! You can do it, you'll get better & better. The self injection pen was the easiest for me!! I get injections of Cimzia in my Drs office now & I liked doing it myself better. Best of luck!!! Have a painfree night...😊
