I was on Hydroxychloroquine and methotrexate together. When that no longer worked I was put on Humira every 2 weeks then weekly. It worked well for me for several years. I have since gone onto Rituxan.

That is the same path I took. Hydroxychloroquine, then methotrexate (I love methotrexate, no so side effects except for weight loss that I needed.)

I've been on Humira about 15 months. I don't feel as good and flare more than I did on methotrexate, but it does work.

I notice when I have to skip a dose for vaccinations.

Also, it took several months to kick in.

It’s always a try it and see situation. I took Enbrel among other things and that helped a while but I have very little body fat and it was very painful to me. I was started on Riutuxin and it was great. I loved it and it helped so much. So you just have try them to see what works the best for you!! 😃😃

Humira worked well for me for about a year and a half then to Rinvoq. Imbrel before humira. But all of them never have lasted more than 2 years. Best wishes.
