You're not alone! My right foot has a huge bone that is swollen and very painful. I've had to even order new wide shoes to accommodate the darn thing. Please let us know what your MRI shows and what they recommend you do for relief - I'm very interested in the answer to this one. Thanks and feel better! Easier said than done, huh?
Yes I did for months from Labor Day 14 for about 3 mnths, I thought oh it's just My R/A really acting up, but it was the first time on my L foot 🦶 on the top & all I did that morning was get out of bed & step down on my feet, should've had it looked @ right away, ended up having a Lis Franc Fracture & after 4 surgeries, being the 4th ended up having my 2nd metatarsal amputated & all my 2nd metatarsal bone removed and I still have trouble with both my feet, I also now see a podiatrist as well, plzzzz go get this checked out right away, I now have type 2 millitus diabetic polyneuropathy and no I didn't have diabetes back then in 2014, I got diagnosed in 2020, I actually now prefer a podiatrist over orthopedic surgeon and got several infection's and several Autoimmune deficiencies , I actually went through 2 malfunctioning mechanical devices ( metal plates) and then my screw's started backing out of my bones after 2nd surgery and they had to remove 1 & put a really long one in bc my Bones our crumbling till this day, I also had to have neck surgery, I've got 3 screws in my neck and the one Dr decided he wanted to coat the ends with plastic tips. Plzz Plz go get this looked at ASAP. And Good Luck.
I have it on both feet. Pretty painful. MRI scheduled for next week. Let’s see what a cluster this will turn into.
I have always had a bone at top of my instep sticking up, seems to be getting more painful niw that I have RA. It makes it difficult to get shoes on sometimes.
YES ! I do, does not hurt but weird and on my left foot, so many Questions when seeing my Rheumatologist every 3 months ,that if it doesn't hurt I forget to ask.
Has anyone had pain on the top of the foot, like a bone or bone chip pushing at the top of the skin?
