RA Flare Symptoms

RA Flare Symptoms

I would like to know what others experience when having a flare from RA. For me, I usually wake up so full of inflammation that I'm unable to move. And I have pain too. It takes awhile to work a bit of movement into my body. The only thing that helps has been Prednisone.

Flare ups are so unpredictable. I use a TENS machine on the afflicted area for 1hr. Also use a hot water bottle ( can't use ice packs as I have Reynauds syndrome).
I try and rest which is difficult but limiting movements helps ease the pain ( a bit!)!.

After rereading some of these responses, I have to say I'm thankful for this site that brings us all together. No one else would understand all the things we go thru !

Wishing everyone pain-free days and nights with peaceful sleep ( we can always hope..lol )
