I was on it for years with no side effects, and it really helped. The shots are so easy and almost painless when injected in the stomach(compared to the thigh). Now I’m on Humira.

Everyone has a different experience with most meds. I personally could not tolerate the chronic sinus infections throughout the entire time on it which was six months. Some biological meds I have tried have not made any difference in my journey with RA. I have found success with Actemra which I get an infusion one a month at the Dr.s office. I've been on enbrel for years. After trying many ra meds unsuccessfully, I have been glad to find it. It takes a few weeks or so to get its full effect. I may be a bit tired the next day until about 3pm. But not always. It helps my ra symptoms and I haven't caught every infection going around. I still need something for pain in addition to it. I've had good results with it. Every one is different though. I hope it works for you. If not, keep trying till you find something that you can take! Good luck!

I started taking Enbrel 4 weeks ago. This is the first time since 2018 I’ve been able to ween off prednisone. I’m down to 1mg prednisone daily and doing well. Methotrexate worked for me but I kept getting really bad headaches. Tried Humira, but kept getting bad sinus infections. I’ve tried Cosyntex, Remicade, and Xeljanz, all with no relief, so I’m stoked I finally found Enbrel. No side effects on Enbrel for me, but everyone is different. Hope it works for you!
