Oxygen Levels/ House Plants

I’m becoming convinced that brain fog has ties to our oxygen levels. I’m on a mission to have a house plant in every room. What are your thoughts about the tie between oxygen levels and brain fog

Members enthusiastically embraced the idea of adding houseplants to improve oxygen levels and combat brain fog, with many sharing their favorite varieties including ZZ plants, snake plants, spider plants, peace lilies, and bamboo, which are known for oxygen production and air purification. Several members offered practical advice, such as using pulse oximeters to monitor oxygen levels (noting that normal ranges are 95-100%), checking for anemia as a potential cause of brain fog, ensuring proper air flow to prevent mold growth on plants, and choosing pet-safe options for households with cats and dogs. A recurring theme was that while the scientific link between houseplants and improved oxygen levels may be modest, members found genuine joy and peace in surrounding themselves with greenery, and many agreed that even if plants don't dramatically improve brain fog, the calming presence and beauty they bring to a home makes them worth having.

Brain fog has everything to do with the meds. It’s a chemical thing. Plants always help even just to make you feel better looking at and talking to them. :)

When you go in to hospital you can not have flowers when I asked why they say it takes your oxygen levels down that's the hospital view my foggy brain is to with not enough sugar in your body so that mean it could be to do with meditation diabetes or not eating properly x

Here is a site to check-out on best oxygen plants for inside. There are many other lists online. There is even one somewhere about what they want on the ISS. I have plants 2,3,4,5,6,7 in my house from this list. (My house looks like one big plant room/solarium/green house.) T😀hey don't list is the philodendron. It is on some of the other lists. What's nice about it, it is very hard to kill, and you get shoots for additional plants all the time. Read the plant directions.

Last year we did have to install a new AC Heating system that came with a UV to destroy any mold, viruses, etc. Don't know if it really works or not but they are coming next week to do the routine maintenance.
It's a Champion heat pump, not sure I made the right decision but so far so good.

Snake plant or mother in laws tongue is a great purifying and oxygenating plant and is recommended for having it in the bedroom.
I've recently increased the plants around my house ( much to my cats disgust) has it reduced my fatigue dont know, as I'm trying to pace myself more, but I do feel calm and more at peace, give it a go, there's nothing to lose. 😁
