My elbow is bone on bone, tennis and golfer elbow, plus the 2 main nerves are damaged. I can get rid of tennis and golfer tendonitis issues. Im sure thats the reason I’m stuck at 3lbs on weights. Been to therapy about 2 months ago. Cant get elbow to increase in weights, like to get to 5 lbs. Ive even tried letting elbow rest for 2 weeks, actually did that 2 separate times. Members rallied around someone struggling with severe elbow pain from tennis and golfer's elbow, bone-on-bone deterioration, and nerve damage that limited them to lifting only three pounds despite months of therapy. Several members shared their own experiences with similar elbow issues, recommending specialist consultations with orthopedic surgeons who focus on elbows, considering steroid injections as a temporary solution, using wrist sandbags to gently stretch the tendons, and performing high repetitions with lighter weights rather than pushing to increase load. A recurring theme was the frustration of feeling stuck or even regressing in progress, with one member sharing that surgery on both elbows and wrists in 2006 ultimately restored their ability to hold weight and maintain function long-term.

Janice You have a couple of problems going on with your elbow. First the tendons that attached to the bone are inflamed and painful. You orthopedic doc sent you to OT. MRI and X-ray also found you are bone on bone. Meaning the Ulna and the Olecranon process have no cartilage so that’s going to hurt unless it is surgically repaired

Jake appreciate the input and as RA patients on this platform everything we do has to go through physical therapy or physician we have already been working with just to be on the safe side. Ya dig?

Put two pound wrist sandbags. It will stretch out your elbows.
