Does anyone else find that dairy makes their symptoms worse?

There is plenty of dairy free cheese, ice cream and almond milk so you don’t have to suffer.

😃😄wow! Your posts really surprised me. I am addicted to Blue Bell cherry vanilla ice cream. I eat a bowl everyday or I am miserable. My mouth gets so inflamed. The methotrexate used to cause breakouts but I am still experiencing the breakouts. I haven't taken it in yrs. I do wear dentures but the ice cream helps my mouth so much. I don't seem to gain weight. I'm almost six ft. And weight 135. I have never had dairy problems. I take Tylenol and oxycodone. I have been on the same dosage for pain since my diagnosis in 1992. I also have a Nevro pain stimulator inserted near my spine which has been a God send. I also have had three back surgeries and a cage inserted on L-4 & L-5. I also take Simponi Aria. My cardiologist just prescribed colchicine after my heart ablation. I have horrible AFib and it helps inflammation so much. A word of caution drink plenty of water, no soft drinks, and I don't drink alcohol, coffee,or any tea except green tea. Too dangerous with my meds. Colchicine was originally prescribed for gout, and it can be rough on your kidneys. I take one every two days. Hope this information helps. Take 😘 care and make precious memories.

Yes. Dairy - particularly cream and cheese - really makes my hands swell and hurt. Butter doesn't seem yo affrct me. Pain lasts a few days. I sure miss my coffee with cream, but it just isn't worth it to me. :-(
