Does Anyone Get A Lot Of Joint Cracking Noises Fingers, Toes, Knees?

A myRAteam Member asked a question πŸ’

I get this especially when I wake up... Is this from RA? I'm finding it more in my toes and fingers now. My knees have been making popping noises for a couple of years now. Thanks and Hugs to all of you!

Snap, crackle pop, many joints, often. For me, usually a sign of a joint losing cartilage and major pain starting.

Hi Valerie, welcome to the RA family. 😊 my neck cracks sometimes. No pain but it sounds horrible.

Yes and one day I was visiting my brother in the hospital and I was walking from the parking garage into a tunnel to the hospital and as I was walking I sounded like popcorn popping and a doctor behind me said that I needed to get that checked out and I said I did and I had RA and I was taking medication for it. I still sound like that.
