Hands Moving

Hands Moving

I have started either twiddling my thumbs or moving my thumb and fingers on the front of my shirt, also have been moving my feet around or in a side to side motion. Does anyone else have the same problem or have any ideas what could be causing this?

Some Medications can cause involuntary movements. It's called tardive dyskinesia. If you are having involuntary
Movements please contact your health care provider as if not caught early the movements can become permanent.
I have them too. Mostly hands but legs as well.

I rub the bottom of my feet with lavender oil for restless legs.

Are the movements completely involuntary? I know I have always been a mover ...I wiggle my fingers, move my feet back and forth and if lying down I catch myself rocking a lot, but I do it as an avoidance to pain kind of like a trance type thing lol, it helps me focus on something other than pain.

Yes I twirl my thumbs all the time but my legs are the worst until my mother told me to put a pillow between my knees when I sleep, it slows the restless Legg syndrome down enough to be able to go to sleep

Hi! I purposefully move my hands a lot. They are stiff, and I need to use them all the time, especially for petting the cats 😃. I also crack my knuckles, a lousy habit I’ve had since I was a kid. It’s voluntary on my part.
