Hi y’all, this is my first time asking a question, or commenting. I read a lot of the posts but I’m pretty quiet. My Dr wants to prescribe Cimzia but from everything I can find on it their PAP doesn’t help if you are on Medicare. Does anyone know of other resources? Any input is very much appreciated. I’m so tired of this pain. Thank you!

Check into 'Extra Help", it is a government program that helps pay for medicine.
Also, you may want to look into a Medicare Advantage Plan, they usually cover more than regular Medicare.

You may want to ask your Rheumatologist about free samples, until you know if this med is going to work for you.

Call your Pharmacy and ask them how much your Advantage Plan and Extra Help will cover. You may not need anything else.
When my med was at $8,500.00 every 30 days, my advantage plan and extra help covered all but $4.00, until my yearly out of pocket was met, then they covered it all.
I have been doing as much research as I can. I’m on an Advantage Plan and I get Extra Help, but from what I have seen I can’t see where I can get any help. I see my rheumatologist in a couple of weeks and I’ll talk to him about samples. I just don’t want to start taking it and find out that it is going to help just to find out that I can’t afford it
Inhumane!
I checked but as far as I can tell they won’t assist anyone on a Federal program such as Medicare
