Has anyone had joint injections done in the jaw?
Do they help at all?
Im on the fence on whether to get them done.....any advice would be welcome.
Yes, it's totally different but both used to treat the jaw pain. Just sharing in case you want to ask your dr about it. It's not cosmetic, it treats the joint space disease & eases pain. Good luck!
I work for an ENT physician who recommends Botox for TMJ....but I've never spoken to someone who has had them to know how they feel or know trends in usefulness...
The oral surgeon is wanting to do steroid injections into the jaw joint not botox
My mri showed degeneration (arthritis) in both sides of the joint
My jaw clicks and does this from time to time. It is painful. I'm not sure if it's the RA or TMJ.
