I have a tens unit, it helps to relieve some of my muscle pain. Any pain relief helps
Mine ranges from 1-10 intensity. Definitely start low, it gives a tingle, I call it a zap. I hope you find relief
I have one and I control the strength of the electrical current. Mine has a range of 1-10, the higher the number, the stronger the current. I leave mine on for about 15 minutes at the range of 5-7. I recommend starting at the lower range and gradually moving higher. It's all up to the individual. Sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't. Best of luck choosing what is best for you.

What is a TENS device?
A transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) unit is a device that sends small electrical currents to targeted body parts. These currents are used to relieve pain.
What does a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation unit do?
A TENS unit sends electrical pulses through the skin. These pulses control pain signals in the body, creating temporary or permanent relief from pain. They can control abnormally excited nerves and release endorphins.
The Devices Strength is in Your Control.
You do have to be cautious with heat or ice, with safety checked heating pads I never go over medium heat and use a wet washcloth to protect the skin. I find moist heat the best Help! If you use hot 🔥 water bottle do the same use wet washcloth to protect your skin. With Ice I wrap it in a washcloth never putting ice directly on skin. I hope this is helpful!
