Well for me Enbrel was a light switch the very next day and for 5 wonderful years I was in remission then it just stopped working as the disease adapts. Humira, Orencia, Remicade did nothing and these were months and months of trying these all. It seems I am at a stand still now. But everything they want you to try it for like 3 months before moving on to another one. I wish you luck as everyone is different and they find find your pot of gold. Hugs 🤗

Docs can give you some interim relief - Prednisone, Kenalog-40, etc. - until your new meds start working.

Enbrel for me the next freaking day! But that’s not everyone and it gave me 5 remission wonderful years. It stopped working for me. Other I have been on seems like I have to be on them 2 months or so to see if anything is working. But remember everyone is different. 🤗

With Enbrel, I noticed some improvement and started weaning off of prednisone after about 4-5 weeks. I had substantial improvement after 3 months but still experienced frequent, severe flares. I had life changing improvement with less flares after six months.

Oh do I understand that! I have to wait months to see IF Simponi will work for me. Zero other assistance from either RA or primary doctors. They both expect me to just deal. How?
