Has anyone tried the medical food; Theramine? I read you can get a prescription for it and that it is FDA approved; unlike many OTC supplements. I am curious if it helps with inflammation and pain. I am looking for ways to avoid prednisone and also I am tired of spending so much money on supplements that don’t seem to do anything.

Members shared mixed experiences with Theramine, a prescription medical food for inflammation and pain, with one member noting it didn't help them personally but encouraging others to try since everyone responds differently. Several members offered alternative strategies, including increasing methotrexate dosage, adding biologics like Rinvoq, and trying natural supplements such as turmeric, tart cherry juice, omega-3s, and vitamin D, with one member enthusiastically recommending a grounding sheet for sleep. A recurring theme was the frustration of finding the right treatment combination and the importance of diet and lifestyle changes, with members encouraging each other to stay hopeful, track triggers, and work closely with their doctors despite the challenges of managing RA alongside other health concerns like cancer history.

Hi Maki2004,
I pray your having a good today. I looked up some info regarding Theramine most
reviews or information from 2013.
Glad your checking in with your Dr.
due to maybe taking other meds to
see if they work well for your present
regimen. I’m really trying some basic
natural choices for me, yes supplements
are expensive. In my case I needed to
lose weight, change my eating habits and
excercise daily. I watched what triggers my joint pain ,inflamation, stiffness and
fatigue. B12 , other vitmans, stopped sodas , no sugars, fast food no pizza 😫
Increased water , fruits and vegs.
Cherries are good for inflamation,
but so expensive. I started drinking
Montmorecy Tart Cherry Juice no sugar
120 cal per 8 Fl oz.
Calorie counting helps me.
I’ll be looking forward to hearing about your findings. Take care and stay safe.
Keep smiling 😌

Also wanted to tell you that I’m feeling great improvement by using my grounding/earthing sheet I sleep on. Sounds crazy but worth trying it. You can get on amazon and it’s guaranteed.

You can buy it online without rx for $49. It’s mainly enzymes. Shouldn’t hurt to try. I use most of these ingredients but nice to have in one pill. I also add turmeric with peperine and quercetin and Boswela ginger and bromeline omegas and high dose d and a few other things.

If I may ask, how much methotrexate are you using? Is it oral or injection? I am all for trying new things.
At age 62, I can tell you I have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars that brought me absolutely no relief. I don’t want to rain on new developments!
Just sharing my experience.
Now to share my experience with theramine as a rheumatoid arthritis bio active mobility blend to aid inflammation and muscle pain relief. You can find medical papers on the Internet in which it is believed a link between immune responses with rheumatoid arthritis patients gut mucosa and its affect on their joints. It didn’t help me but that doesn’t mean it can’t help you.
We are all wonderfully different.
My prayer for you is that you will find all good, healthy and happy measures throughout your life!

Just me looking for another miracle!! 🤣🤣🤣Yes please let me know how it goes with the Rinvoq! I hope it puts you in remission! I haven’t been on here much either...feeling depressed; but trying not to let it get to me. I’m still on Methotrexate; it’s helping...but not enough. I am going to switch up my treatment at my next appointment (in 3 months). So good to hear from you! ❤️😊
