Enbrel?

Enbrel?

Has anyone taken enbrel and what was your experience? Ive been on humira for a while but it has seemed to stop working. I was taking humira every 2 weeks then went to every week and now they are just putting me on enbrel every week. If anyone has experiences with both humira and enbrel was the shot feeling about the same or what is it like? I finally got used to and comfortable with giving myself humira to be changed again and now having anxiety over what to expect with enbrel.

I’ve been on both Enbrel and Humira - at the moment still on Humira which works for me. Both auto inject pens which didn’t bother me at all - a bit of a sting for a few seconds and that was it. Really nothing to worry about! And lucky me, never felt nauseous, maybe slight fatigue the next day.

I've done both. Humira did not work, but Enbrel did. I just went back on Enbrel after 3 years of trying other meds. I am doing good after only one month! I am so thankful. The auto injectors work about the same. This time I am on Enbrel minis. I have a reusable injector (which is cool) and there's less waste. Hope it works for you!

If pain is a big concern, you may want to look into numbing creams. A friend of mine uses “uber numb.”

I would describe it as very brief stinging. If you were comfortable injecting Humira you should be fine with Enbrel.
