Can You Really No Longer Drink Alcohol On Any Medication With RA?
was told I could no longer drink alcohol-or while on Methotrexate. Is it really the end of social family drinking and special occassions like birthdays and moms night with friends??
If taking Methotrexate 1x a week, can you get off for a week if you'd like to drink for an upcoming special occasion??
To answer your question about going off that med for the week... No I never skipped a dose to have a drink. Peoples opinions vary on the subject . Everyone's body responds differently .. Do I think a couple of drinks is going to shut down or damage your liver? No I do not, again that's from my personal experience... Now if your going to go get hammered every day or week you may want to rethink that. LOL !!! Life was meant to be enjoyed !!
SamH you're funny !! Humor is a great asset during 2020!!
Hi I have been methotrexate for many years now I was told back then to have a drink in moderation if I have the one for the road I find that's when I can sleep all night but I don't mad with alcohol
I never had an issue on methotrexate with social or special occasion drinking. I mostly drink moscato, peach sangria & the tasty amaretto sours.
I am not a big drinker. However, I have gotten approval for occasional drinks. I am just careful to not overdo. Methotrexate is the med that I am on.
I Understood That It Was Agreeable To Drink Two Glasses Of Red Wine A Day..... If Received Okay And No Adverse Effects This Now Not Correct?
