I was told my RA medications impair my immune system. With that in mind, are there additional steps I should be taking to protect myself?

Eat healthy try to sleep or at least rest., keep moving as much as possible. And my doctor told me to become a germaphobe. She told me last flu season to wear a glove when pumping gas and to take it off properly with out touching outside. Use hand sanitizer and wash hands like you’ve got OCD.

I am following all the precautions the CDC suggested to prevent COVID-19 .
Th increase my immunity, I believe in eating fruits and vegetables. I eat about 2 cups of cooked vegetables per day. These are a variety high fiber, leafy greens as well as red and orange vegetables. Sometimes I eat more.
Since we have an autoimmune condition, I don’t eat eggplant, potatoes or peppers. I also eat less tomatoes. I avoid gluten and dairy.
We eat 90% homemade unprocessed foods.
I take 500 mg VitC, VitD( tested for deficiency), for immunity.
I make Turmeric ginger tea and other spice tea very morning . I add additional turmeric and spices in my cooking.
I also follow sleep protocol for getting a better night sleep.
Don’t know if they work but I am happy doing it.
Hope this helps

Wow, thank you all. I'll reach out to my doctor about those immune support supplements to be on the safe side. @A myRAteam Member, my doctor didn't provide very much information to me either. I've been learning as I go.
