I Don't Understand The Rash I Get With Methotrexate?

I Don't Understand The Rash I Get With Methotrexate?

I understand that methotrexate and sunlight don't mix, but can I get a rash because of just normal daylight? My chest erupts in almost a papular-like rash on even the cloudiest day. I also get the sensation of sunburn on my forearms but less often a rash. I would like to hear if anyone has similar experiences please.

I absolutely have it but I have no idea why or what might help it... It's nice to hear that someone else is experiencing this... God Bless

I stopped the Methatrexate after a few months because of the rashes and ulcers it caused, mainly in the groin area.

Is anyone having severe itching all over your body? I have episodes of itching that comes and goes. Usually happens at night and goes from the top of my head to the tip of my toes. I take 6 tablets of benadryl every night to help me sleep, and still have the itching. Can anyone give me some advice on what could possibly help give me some relief. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿงก

For the itchy skin, I use pure Aloe Vera. I have many plants, so always available. Cut it open, and rub the goo on all itchy spots. For my hair/head, I now make a concoction of the pulp from a large Aloe Vera, two tablespoons of distilled water, then I add the liquid from 5 each, Vitamin E,and 5 Biotin capsules. Put in a blender, then I strain it thru an old knee high nylon. Even if you don't wash your hair everyday, still use it. I put it in a small bottle, that has a dropper. Makes it easy to apply. Massage into scalp. Keep in fridge up to two weeks. This also can be used on all parts of the body that is itching.
