Walk,
Welcome!
I tried Enbrel and Humeria and failed both. I am in my second year of remission on XeljanzXR. Now having said that, please remember that each of us responds differently to the medications. We may or may not have reactions, the meds may work for some time, then just quit working. I suggest you keep a journal of date, time, med, and any effects, then go over this information with your Rheumatologist.
I hope this helps.
I was on Enbrel and the only side effect was injection site irritation but after about 3.5 years it quit working. Now I am on Xeljanx and I love it. No side effects and it work really well most of the time.
After being on Enbrel and Humira which were not working am now on xeljanz xr and it is working great,,,,hopefully it keeps up it has been two months
Update. I just found out yesterday that I will be starting ringvog instead of Orencia. I'm praying this is the one for me. I was hoping for Orencia, since that was my rheumatologist first choice. I'm going to journal my progress...or lack of.
I was on Enbrel for 18 years. No side effects expect like nlm212 said injection side irritation. It seemed to quit working last year so i started on Humira 2 months ago. Its helping but not great. When i started on Enbrel it was amazing. My ex-husband called it a miracle drug.
