I was recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and I was wondering if others have skin sensitivity? It almost feels like sensory nerve pain. At times I don’t feel it at all and other days like today the skin on my back side of my forearm Is so sensitive it hurts to rub on anything. Sometimes it affects certain fingers and always on the left arm. Thoughts?
As weird as this sounds its worth a try...
Rub gently, diffrrent types of fabric on the area several times a day. This will over stimulate the nerves and get blood and energy to them and they'll cool down.
talk to your RA doctor you could also have Fibromaliga
Yes, I have had sensory nerve pain ever since being diagnosed 11 years ago. I take Gabapentin for it and it does help. I hope you can find some relief soon.

Yes once in a while my skin hurts and don't want be touched. Not sure why it does it.
