Newly Approved RINVOQ
Has anyone's rheumatologist suggested Rinvoq? I just saw my doctor last week and he mentioned this new drug that was just approved this year. He said I'd be an excellent canddiate (it's a JAK inhibitor, and TNF blockers don't work on me).
Anyone out there trying it out, or at least looking into it?
I started on Rinvoq last month after my diagnosis. I saw results in the first week. I am amazed at how well this medicine is working for me. I have not felt this good in a lot of years. I have been on a lot of different medicine that hardly made a dent in my joint pain. I was recently having a severe flare that made it hard to even stand up, my hip had a lot of pain. I am near pain free now, just some morning pain in my hands when I wake up.
I have been taking for 3 months. Finally seeing results. I have been on so many different drugs I am hopeful this works.
I’ve had good luck so far with Rinvoq along with methatraxate. No known side affect after 5 months.
I’ve continued my methatraxate and Rinvoq and it seems to be working well for me. It’s been covered by my insurance which I’m so grateful for. No side effects. Trying to keep up with my physical therapy and walking everyday, hope you too find a positive results from this medicine!
