What are some symptoms of RA?

I haven’t been diagnosed with RA yet but I do have fibromyalgia and diabetic neuropathy. I’m on gabapentin and cymbalta. These aren’t working anymore or something has changed. I have very stiff fingers and they hurt all day long. I’ve been having trouble with writing even. I also can’t make meatloaf or cut vegetables since it makes my hands cold and hurt so much. Has anyone had these things happen?

Yes that's where mine first started but that was when I was 13 I'm now 44 and unfortunately it's just got worse and worse and has spread .since I had my last child 4 years ago my hands and wrists are so bad now my fingers look deformed and bloody well feel it (lol) and just been told I have it in my jaw so got it everywhere they say I'm rare my mum would've said I'm more then rare lol dnt give in , I know how much it hurts but life is worth fighting this with all that you have ,and u will see you have strength where you thought u didn't XXX
P.s on Amazon they have gadgets at reasonable prices to get to help with the kitchen duties and really anywhere in your home just to make your life a little easier and keep being independent, sending gentle hugs your way xx

It could also be attributed to the gabapentin. It can cause swelling making your hands stiff. I had to stop taking it. I have fibro too. Without the cymbals it hurts to much to walk. I am on pain meds however it only takes the edge off.

Definitely see a rheumatologist. The finger stiffness is not fibromyalgia.

I have not worked since June 2017 AND NOW DO volunteer work as I cannot work full time I get the dole and I feel good because it is very hard work as it is doing a lot of cleaning of the Accommodation center where people from rural areas stay while coming to see specialist for medical.
