Members shared experiences with itchy scalp and sores while on methotrexate and Humira, with several members suggesting that psoriatic arthritis or psoriasis could be the cause, as both conditions commonly accompany RA and methotrexate can sometimes trigger or worsen psoriasis. Many community members described practical remedies they've found helpful, including switching shampoos regularly (with one member recommending Bed Head brand), applying virgin coconut oil daily to relieve itching and heal rashes, and consulting with a rheumatologist or dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. A recurring theme was the importance of ruling out psoriasis through medical evaluation while also experimenting with gentle, natural remedies to find what works for your individual body.

Few months back I have that plus rashes on my face. I haven't taken any med back then so what I did is to slab virgin coconut oil in it everyday and night. Good thing it works for me, untill now I'm still doing it even it's all gone now. I get it from my Lupus.

Jennifer I actually went to the salon and bought a shampoo and conditioner called Bed Head. Expensive. It helped most of the time. I have learned that I can only use shampoo's and conditioner for so long then I have to switch. Hope your having a fun filled day. By the way, how are you today?
