I ask because the longer I take this stuff the more side effects I get... To begin with it was mouth sores and a runny nose, but then I started to get back ache (sides - lower ribs) sometimes one side, sometimes both. This is unusual for me. My nose is constantly running. And I didn’t know why
I had mouth sores and stomach pain when I was taking oral methotrexate with my Biologic infusions, Actemra. Switched to sc. methotrexate and the dose was lowered and mouth sores went away .....
IF all of this didn't start until you took the medicine than it's the meds. I think some of these medications make us sicker than the actual disease.
I've taking arava for three years now. If there's side effects I doesn't feels them, only take one pill a day. My Rheumatologist took me off methotrexate I don't think it was helping. I'm much better.
my only side effect was hair loss. my hair being the only healthy thing on my body I, stopped taking it. I also didn't feel like it was helping me. I wish you well
