Sooo..I'm trying to figure out if when my hip feels like its locked and I try and unlock it..it pops and I have relief..however when I cant get it to pop that's a whole different story...is this part of RA?

yeah a pillow usually works for me also, doing some slight stretches also definitely tell your dr about your hips x best luck ^^

I have had the hip lock thing and yes if you can't get it to pop it is debilitating. It is part of my RA. I will go to my chiropractor when this happens.

Wow -- I have never heard of that! Learning a lot on this site! I was just recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both my hips -- I am not sure if that stems from having RA, but I have never had them lock like that.

I hear you, I have trouble sleeping sometimes because hips hurt. I bought one of those pillows that go between your legs which helps one. Have you ever had cortisone shots in your hips?
