Ever since I started taking Enbrel, I've noticed my hair falling out. It's to the point where I clog the drain every time I shower. It's thinner than it's ever been. I told my rheumatologist and she just shrugged it off, but it's really bothering me. I don't want to lose my hair!

Yes, folic acid helps. When I was diagnosed, I told the doc I was afraid of my hair falling out. He prescribed Methotrexate weekly and said I was to also to take folic acid daily to specifically address my concerns. It's been over two years and my hair is as thick and healthy as ever.
I take folic acid daily to help with that. My doc recommended , I am on Methotrexete. . Good Luck!
Never had any hair loss from Enbrel but did from Prednisone & methotrexate. If you've been talking either of those, it's probably what's causing hair loss. Whenever you stop taking them, the hair loss will stop & your hair will come back in. When I was on methotrexate & Prednisone I lost 50 percent of my hair but all came back in thick & curly, which is a bit crazy since I had straight hair all my life. Everyone thought I got a perm.
