My sternum is pulled and tight most of the time. Sometimes my chest and shoulders are so tight I have to ice and heat and drugs and stretch. But the sternum paIn is annoying. I've recently been at both docs, GP and rheumy and I'm not worried it's anything else. I visited Dr. Internet and my symptoms describe Costochondritis. Anyone else experience this? What helps you relieve it"

Thanks for your answers and hugs everyone. I don't like having this and I feel for all of my RA warriors, but it does help to know it's not just me. I like heat on most of my aching body parts but yesterday I iced and did TENs. It seemed to help.
Have a great day my RA peeps.

Yes, unfortunately it comes and goes quite frequently for me. It's horrible and painful.i also frequently find that I can crack my chest (like cracking my back). I hope it passes quickly for you!

I had pain across my chest/sternum last week. I did not look it up, I also had it across the back. I was wondering if it was joint pain or muscle pain. I had it a few days and it went away. Stinking stuff!!!!
