Ice, elevate, compression, and rest. That’s my PT advice, and anti inflammatory med of some sort.

Sounds like a fragment of bone or similar has got into the middle of the knee? Sometimes iv heard the hive it a wash out to remove it. Hope it improves soon as I can’t image it must be very painful. Take care . X

When I read story of people having insurance, for there prescription, I think how lucky we are in England, we don’t have to pay for our drugs, or doctors , or hospital, I have had two new hips., and hate to think how much that would cost me if I had to pay.. we have a lot of people who moan, I am sure if they had to pay, they would think differently.. we’ll take care Jenny x

I use Diclofenac Sodium Topical Gel it's a life saver you need a prescription to get it but it works great my insurance covers it because it is expensive!! Hope hat helps you!!!!😎

Sounds like what I have to. I have one little spot in the middle of my knee that if I just barely touch it sends off terrible pain. I've had this for about a year now. I don't know either what started causing it.
