Does methotrexate cause a higher platelet count

Blood work shows a higher platelet count (442). Have always been normal .... thinking it might be the methotrexate / have been taking for 2 minths

My platelets are low on Methotrexate and my doctor says this is normal?

No mine did not go up. But not sure if it can cause problems with your platelets.
