A myRAteam Member asked a question 💭

Ever since I started getting infusions that work , I pay attention to symptoms as it wears off. Things I have are toothache, small welts, sense of smell and tasteare exagerated, swelling wrist and ankles. Sometimes vision gets blurry.

Members strongly validated someone asking whether toothache is a symptom related to their infusion treatment wearing off, with many sharing similar experiences including swollen wrists and ankles, overall increased pain, and blurred vision as their medication effects fade. Several members offered helpful insights, including that what feels like a toothache could actually be TMJ or jaw arthritis, that dry eyes from RA can cause blurry vision (manageable with eye drops), and that RA medications can cause dry mouth and other oral issues. A recurring theme was the shared relief of discovering others experience the same strange symptoms as infusions wear off, along with gentle reminders to consult doctors about any concerning changes.

I was told that my vision gets blurry because my eyes get dry so I have to use eye drops.

Hello RA Warriors,

Yes, my vision has definitely changed, and now that the cold weather is here, I'm swollen at knees, ankles and hands. I'm on medication for anxiety and depression since feeling this way can make you feel this way. In any case, make sure to visit your doctors.
