I have a pillow that is shaped like a wide upside down U. It is designed especially for neck problems. I was hesitant to buy it because I’ve always slept on a feather pillow, but it really does the trick! Wish I could remember the brand name...sorry!
Thank you for your feedback!!
I have not had any fusions but my PT recommended no pillow when on my back and a soft pillow which I bunch up to raise my head so that my spine is level when I sleep on my side. It works beautifully. I have had pain to the point of tears and stiffness so that I cannot drive but nothing since moving to this and stretching regularly.
I have had two neck surgeries also. The only pillow that I can shape to my neck and give me soft support are the down feather pillows. I have tried synthetic down, not as good as real down pillow.
Yes I would appreciate what works for others.
