Sal, I have them on both elbows. The Left is larger than the right. It was the first flag that I had RA. They get swollen and very painful when I am having a flare up. My rhuemy said we could do a biopsy but he did do x-rays. I had them for awhile. My PCP told me that it was my tendons rolled up! Yeah I am looking for a new one. Anyone knows a good PCP in metro Nashville 😊. Hugs and prayers for you.

I’ve had it many times. It’s a bursa. Sack of fluid. Feels tender and painful. See your doctor they mite give you steroids to get rid of the fluid. (Inflammation )

I have had these in the backs of the lower legs

I’ve had this pain for months and finally felt the module on my right elbow. Very tender. I’ve also had some on my toes and fingers. Some go away but others stay. I understand it’s RA. I have been on methotrexate for a long time.

I have dealt with that also and even had one removed. I have been told this is a side effect of methotrexate. I have not taken it in several years and no more issues..
